Optional: Enter Comments In some cases, your administrator will instruct you to enter Shared Secret information (known only to you and the administrator) in this field. The administrator uses this shared secret to verify that it really is you submitting the application. This comment will not be included in your Digital ID.

When your "general-usage" Digital ID is ready, you will receive e-mail that includes instructions for retrieving and installing it. The private key associated with your general-use certificate is transferred to you and is also held in escrow by your organization. Your public key becomes part of your Digital ID—your associates can use it to verify your digital signature and to send you encrypted e-mail.
